• I recently realized my W3 Total Cache settings were less than optimal, so I decided a do-over was in order. I selected to Restore Default Settings, then went about setting up only Page and Browser Cache, along with MaxCDN.

Everything appears setup correctly, the only issue I’m having is under Browser Cache – when I select “Set W3 Total Cache Header” and save, the admin reloads and shows a success message, but this one setting remains unchecked.

This is the only setting I’ve come across on this re-set up that is doing this. For the record, I had this option selected before restoring defaults. Any advice or guidance is appreciated.

  • Same issue. My php files aren’t being compressed and I think it is because this box won’t stay checked. Please help!

I found that it sticks if and only if they are all ticked off for each cache type down the General Settings page.
