Search Reloaded: can’t paginate, wierdness when apostrophe in search term
-
Search reloaded is on both of my WordPress 2.02 sites, https://www.RadMod.com, and https://www.TimsLaw.com. It’s a good plugin.
Two Issues:
First: Pagination: I cannot get Search Reloaded to paginate results, whether I use the Search Reloaded built in display features, or whether I use a WordPress loop and let the WordPress Archive Template display the results.
Second, Wierdness with Apostrophes: When the user inputs a search term containing an apostrophe, such as o’connor , Search Reloaded transforms the search term into the following: o\\\’connor. Search Reloaded then just lists the most recent articles in date order, and does not search for any part of the term at all.
I know how Reloaded transforms the search term, because my search results page grabs the $s variable containing the search term and displays it on the results page.
Here’s hoping these issues are addressed in the next update. It’s great having a better search feature than the default WordPress search.
Thanks for the nice plugin.
