getting blank page when deleting plugin

    hi guys

    after all the previous problems had with cpu, entry process, ive been cutting down the plug ins from too many down to bare minumum (about 5 or 6 essentials (security, spam, seo, comments, etc….)one of the spam free wordpress. It interferes with my disqus comments system so when I attempt to delete it the screen goes blank. Ive tried the deactivate all plugins (about 14of them)try it then it still goes blank

    im not tech savvy but is there any other way to delete the plug in? any help will be great

  • Sounds like your theme is tied directly to the plugin. What theme are you using? Try reverting to Twenty Twelve theme and see if it works.

    You can use ftp or a file manager (if your host offers one, most do) to go through the back way

    Within your file structure you navigate to

    html/public_html/www -> wp-content -> plugins

    You should be able to find the offending plugin’s folder in there

    hi double j got the them before the plug in, theme is called bodega, im in process of changing it as i dont like it now plus the slider doesn’t but i think thats a problem with the makers of the slider which doesnt work with current version of wp.org (nvidia slider)

    cheers ill go into to cpanel for the file manager get rid of the plug in
