No images on twitter posts by Publicize

Jetpack itself doesn’t control the way your tweets appear on Twitter.

When you publish a new post and when a link is posted to Twitter, Twitter crawls the post and looks for meta data that will give more details about your post: an image, a description, a title, …

You can add this meta data to your theme manually, by following the instructions here:
https://dev.twitter.com/docs/cards

You can also use plugins that will do this for you. Here is an example:

Twitter’s validator doesn’t seem to be able to access your site:

That’s probably what’s causing the issue here.

If you don;t use any plugins that may block access to your site, I would suggest that you search the Twitter dev forums for problems similar to yours:

Hi, I seem to be having a similar problem.

none of the posts seem to get publicized with an image.
I’ve installed the twitter cards plugin,validated my site but still cant seem to get a large size image with the post.

in the card preview/validator i get a small summary image along with the post. but it doesnt show me a post with the larger image?

am i doing something wrong?

ok… sorry.. but I reinstalled the twitter plugin..

I now get a summary with the post with a tiny image on the right.
How do i publicize it as a PhotoCard or Large Summary card??

@vascowatch Since you use a Twitter Cards plugin, you’ll want to talk to the plugin author of you experience issues with the cards created via the plugin.
