Disallow: /wp-admin
Disallow: /wp-includes
Disallow: /wp-content/plugins/

Put the above text in a regular txt. file, name it robots and drop it in your main directory. Done.

I am not sure how to do this.

use FTP and place it in the same root folder as your wp-config file.
