Events Agenda widget not working after upgrade

  • Hi,

    I’ve upgraded the Event Organiser plugin and my Events Agenda widget is no longer working properly. I had this same problem back in November 2012 and I cannot for the life of me remember what the fix was and I cannot find it noted on the forum either.

    The problem is that when you arrive at the website the Events Agenda in the right hand sidebar is not populated with events. There is no data there at all.

    Once you have looked at an event the sidebar event agenda does get populated and works fine.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    just thought I’d add that I have tried this on chrome, firefox and IE and the events do not display on the agenda for any of the browsers when you initially arrive at the homepage of the website.

    The sidebar agenda is loaded and works fine once you’ve actually looked at an event but that’s not how it has been working up till now.

    You’ve got some js errors on your home page:

    Uncaught TypeError: Object [object Object] has no method ‘imagesLoaded’ https://www.bromsgroveoperaticsociety.org.uk:145
    Uncaught TypeError: Object [object Object] has no method ‘colorbox’ https://www.bromsgroveoperaticsociety.org.uk:197

    The second one doesn’t appear on your ‘What’s On’ page – so its probably that one thats causing the actual error. Anyway, the problem is not agenda-specific, the calendar doesn’t navigate either: in short the plug-in’s javscript isn’t running on your homepage – probably because of those errors.

    I’m not quite sure what all that means, it probably has something wrong with the freebie theme I’m using so will try to install it again and hope that helps.
