  • Hey there,

Thanks for posting. Generally that interaction indicates that there may be an unintended required field that’s set in your list settings, inside of your MailChimp account. I’d recommend double-checking there in your form builder first.

If you’re not seeing any, I’d be happy to take a closer look. In pulling up your site, I wasn’t seeing an embedded form or the WordPress plugin’s form on your site, so I wasn’t able to investigate. Could you clarify for me where the form is (if it’s still available on the live site)?

Thank you for your reply. I checked my form set up in MailChimp and the only fields that are required are email, first name, and last name. So I’m not sure why it’s not working correctly. I apologized, after I made this post I deleted the widget by mistake but it’s back on there now. Also, how do I delete the mobile radio button? I don’t have a mobile field on my form?

Actually, I figured out how to remove the mobile radio button (removed line 145 in mailchimp-php) so disregard that questions. Still having problems with the “required” message however. Thanks!

For some mysterious reason, the sign up form/widget is working now. Not sure what I did but it works so I’m good to go. Thanks so much for your help!
