Janrain and Yahoo Login Problem

We set up Janrain to use Facebook, Yahoo, and Google. It works fine with Facebook and Google, but there are issues with Yahoo and WordPress.

When logging in with a Yahoo account, the username is derived from the “First Name” in Yahoo.
With Google, the username is the username of the Gmail account
Facebook uses the Facebook Profile’s First and Last Name.

One problem we encountered is if two people logging in with Yahoo have the same First name, then there will be a conflict.

Let’s say we have two users with the same first name of “Test”.
An account has already been made with the name “Test” from the first person logging in.

The second user logs in and the following will occur:
The user will get the following message.

“Test”
Username already taken.
Please enter a username/screenname.
(The name seen on comments.)
You will be asked to sign in a second time.

I enter username:
Normie

Hit Submit

Get back to Login screen

Hit Login again

Get same error, It asks for a name again.

We have this option checked.

“Allow sign in based on verified Email match” as this negates the need for a username.

Has anybody else encountered this?

Do you have any suggestions for a fix?
