add media button not working on magazine basic theme

Revert to Twenty Twelve theme and see if add media button works.

It does! So I have inserted three pics. Then reverted to Magazine Basic, but still no luck inserting pics in that theme. And the ones I did in Twenty Twelve aren’t quite in the right place as the text flows differently.
What now? Ditch Mag Basic and just go with Twenty Twelve?

You may try re-installing the theme from a fresh download. If it does not help, you may post the problem at the theme’s dedicated section:
