Is there a way to make the gallery not pick up the featured image picture?

    Hi!

    I am not sure what you mean. The gallery in the top (NivoSlider) is most likely part of your theme and probably pulls all media linked to the post. Could you please try to explain what you want done a little more detailed? ??
