Icons not in rows in IE

    I have set up Document gallery v1.3.1 and it is still using the standard settings, but when I have more than one icon grouped together using ids in internet explorer it does not lay them out in rows, instead it puts them in columns. It works fine in chrome but not IE10 or IE8 (not got access to any other IE version).

    Forget that last post, turns out its IE compatibility mode screwing up the layout, meta tag in the header sorted it.
