Changing My Background

  • I run this site Flight-401.net and I I have the theme “Oxygen” I’m trying to make the theme look exactly like my old site which was hosted on wordpress.com and that site is JayLav.wordpress.com
    Does anybody know how to split up the site and the background.. if you look at jaylav.wordpress.com you’ll see that the site has a white background and then behind that its a NBA wallpaper. How can I do that on my site? if i change the background the whole thing turns into that NBA wallpaper.

    That’s unlikely to be possible, Themes on wordpress.com are often substantially modified compared to their freely available counterparts.

    Well is it possible to imitate? Its the same exact theme, check out JayLav.wordpress.com and Flight-401.net same backgrounds but on JayLav.wordpress.com there is a white box with everything in it and then the NBA background. I can’t figure out how to do it on Flight-401.net

    In theory it’s possible if you have the requisite PHP, HTML & CSS skills and know exactly what was changed in the wordpress.com version.
