From bad to worse to OH NO!
-
I’ve been working on my website locally on my computer for about a month. On Saturday I planned to take my website live on GoDaddy. I had no idea that it was going to be so complicated, and tech support at GoDaddy do not have a clue.
Today I found the WordPress document titled “Moving WordPress.” I followed the steps, and I changed my site URL in the General Settings… Now the database at GoDaddy is telling me that the credentials that I have entered are incorrect, but I know that they are correct, and I cannot log into my website locally either.
I am panicking and I found a WordPress document titled “Changing the Site URL.” I went through all of the steps of going into my database and changing the site URL and the Home fields under My-Options. My site will not load locally or on the Internet… AND now the MySQL Database won’t launch.
I hope someone is willing and able to help me dig myself out of this hole. I am scared that I am going to lose all of the work that I put into this website. My website is https://www.louisianabeat.com
Thank you.
