Hostgator > from WP.com to WP.org

Hello, I am very much a noob.

I’ve exported my wp.com website in the hopes of transferring to a wp.org site. I use hostgator to host my url, thebenfarberfoundation.com, and have installed WP on hostgator.

When I open up the site from HG, however, it opens by WP.com site. Why does this happen? I would like to open a blank WP.org site, and import my exported blog.
