    Use the global plugins admin.

    Jeff,

Wouldn’t that disable plugins site wide? I could achieve that by disabling plugins normally. Maybe I’m not understanding something here.

How is using the global plugins admin any different from disabling these plugins the default WP way?

To give you an example.. say I have the BackupBuddy plugin installed. I don’t need that for any posts but I need that for a backend admin functionality. If I disable it using your global admin section how would I achieve my desired result of still having that plugin fuction? Thank you for your help.

    Jeff,

Am I correct that I would need to edit the settings within each post in order to achieve what I want? I hope I’ve been clear in what I’m trying to achieve. The problem is I have hundreds of posts so setting each one would take forever.

If you disable a plugin but do not have admin plugin disabling turned on then it will only be disabled on the front end of your site. If you are saying that you want a plugin disabled for any post that is a post post_type then yes you would have to disable it for each individual post.
