validating .gif freezing up other plugins

After lots of troubleshooting, this plugin was keeping Genext gallery download from working on my site.
When a user would select the images they wanted to download and press the download button, your validating icon would appear indefinitely not allowing the download to proceed.
Your plugin worked great at stopping the spam comments I was getting. Please advise if there is a way to keep your plugin from interfering with other plugins =(
