    yasamadair,

Thanks for your post. Not sure we understand your issue though… if you have added the WPUC widget to your sidebar and a user logs into your site via the WPUC widget then the plugin is designed to redirect the visitor back to the same page from which they initiated the login request. Once logged in the user should see their information in place of the WPUC tabbed login.

Is that not what is happening? If you’re seeing something different please send us more information on what is happening, along with a link to your site so that we can do some troubleshooting.

    Cheers,

    Dear Bill,

I suppose there are some bugs at the backend. Redirection doesn’t work for me as you described. I had to hook it manually and enter an URL for redirection at the code side.
And currently, I have a trouble with sending e-mail to the user who takes a quiz. Only admin can get e-mails. It seems that mail function doesn’t work properly, as well.
Is there an update for these issues? Or how could you help me?

    Thank you again.

Sorry quiz part is not related with you Bill. I’m really confused because of plugins I use together ?? Just ignore it.
My main issue is redirection and I wasn’t able to tell what I meant as I’d like to.
Let me give an example: The user is at a page which says “You should register to see this page. Please register through widget area bla bla…”. Then the user register, get the password through e-mail and then logs in. But he/she still displays the page says “Register…”. So I think that’s not a redirection at all.
It’d be very useful if you could add a “manual redirection” option at the admin side.
Take it as my suggestion on plugin improvement.
    Regards / Hulya

    Hulya,

Thanks for providing more detail. It sounds like you have some pages that require a user to be logged into your site in order to view. I’d recommend verifying the security settings you have configured for those pages. Based on your description of the problem, that may be the cause. We don’t believe a manual redirection option would help you, as that would ALWAYS redirect a user to one specific page after login. One of the primary design goals of WPUC is to allow the user to login without being redirected away from the content they are viewing.

    Cheers,

Is there a way to redirect users to the dashboard on login?

I was also wondering if there is a way to adjust the size of the photo. I would like to make it a little bigger if I can.

    Asmond5,

Thanks for your post. Regarding your questions…

    1) No, WP User Control redirects users to the content they were viewing when they initiated the login process, it is not designed to redirect to a specific URL all the time.

    2) The size of the avatar is not made available for adjustment in the current version of WP User Control. You are actually the first person to ever request this. It is something we could look at adding for a future version.

In the future, please do not post to an old resolved topic – please create a new one.

    Cheers,

    -Bill
