Extending products

I’m slowly getting my teeth into your API and I suppose I just want to know if I can extend the grouped product type so that it mimics this website https://www.fieldandflower.co.uk/buy/small-regular-meat-box_2.htm . Instead of adding all the products into basket, I would like to add it as a whole product with sub-items. Is this possible?
