Is This Possible in WP?

Hello there. I want to figure out if a wp_query can be used to pick out the author name in a page link and pull the posts of that author based on the name it pulls?
In other words, I want to know if I have a page and it has the link in the address bar like so, https://entechpc.com/portfolio/james-g/ , can a wp-query be used to get the name “james-g” and pull all of his or her posts and display them on a page? And if so, could someone provide me with a tutorial or a direction on how to achieve this?[Already asked here – https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/can-this-be-done-in-wordpress-3?replies=1 ]
