Project Folders not working . . . .

Ok . . . saw the videos and what the product could do and bought the premium version with the sub folder management no questions asked, installed it here : https://www.silikongraphics.com/client-upload/ and have been having nothing but trouble trying to create folder hierarchy – eg. Project folders / sub folders etc.

Even when I assign a project to a user then upload a document and create a project to put said document into said folder . . . nothing . . . files upload / download fine, just not into folders – which can’t be created for some reason – tested with all plugins off . . . so not a plugin conflict and I sure won’t be ” paying ” for support after spending a hundred bucks on two sets of plugins that look good in videos – but don’t perform as shown in real life scenarios.

In all seriousness, a little bit of ” logic ” needs to be applied – why go about in a long way and create ” projects ” . . . when one can simply put a button before the ” +file” button on the uploader which simply says ” +add folder ” , dialogue opens to name folder / assign user / permissions etc. Presto – done – and it appears where it should.

I am sorry for the rant, but after spending half a day to perform a simple operation which was THE selling merit of the product, I cant help but be annoyed that it ” doesn’t work as advertised ” – tested across all browsers – woking on mac – not that it should make a difference. The end user shouldn’t have to go through this on a purchase of at this price – have a look at ” Royal Slider ” plugin . . . that works, now if we can do something about this it would be great – or I would be returning the license for a refund and building my own file uploading system.
