Installation Problem-which directory to upload?

I unzipped the file so my path is now
wp-content/plugins/backwpup.3.0.12/backwpup

The backwpup does not show up when I go to plugins. I’m thinking that maybe I should put the /backwpup directory directly under plugins. Is that the way it is supposed to be?
