Tagline

  • When I post a link to a website on Facebook, why wouldnt the tagline in General Settings show up? Instead, an old tagline shows up.

    The website is https://www.erichiman.com/. The tagline in General Settings is “Singer/Songwriter” but when the link is copied to Facebook, it shows up as “Eric Himan | Folkstar”. Where is it grabbing that info from?

  • Sometimes a theme will provide options for the site title and site description. I would first take a look at my theme options and see if this is happening.

    If not… next place I would look is my database. I’d check to see if there is another db option somewhere “holding onto” the old value.

    I check my theme and didn’t see any options .. Not sure where I would look for a DB option ..
