Contact Form 7 Not Working

FWIW – I was having unrelated issues with Contact Form 7, since upgrading to WordPress version 3.5.2 and Contact Form 7 version 3.4.2 problems went away

Tested your form in Firefox 22 – appeared to send successfully.

Though the plugin successfully sends millions of emails every day, there are a host of issues that can delay or stop emails on both the sending and receiving ends of a typical email. It depends entirely on your local configuration.

I would love some help here as well. I’ve upgrade to the latest wordpress version and Contact Form 7, but am still unable to receive emails from my website contact page. I get a green box that says it has sent, but nothing comes through…any suggestions?

I have the exactly same problem with bigboymark. I’ve updated Contact 7 and then wordpress core. Is the order of update important? If so, what should I do now? Thanks in advance.

I copied my website to a new domain name (same server) and now my contact forms do not work. The spinner spins, but even the validation does not execute.

I’ve compared all the settings between the two sites and see no difference. Same plugins, and settings. I even created a new contact form and a test page (link below) and it reacts the same way.

I have the same problem as bigboymark and YaPing. Just updated Contact Form 7 then WordPress core and now forms just spin. Have the exact same setup on other sites without upgrade and all still working. Did anyone find a solution? Thanks.

Hi buzz, thanks, but it’s working on all other sites that have not been upgraded. Same host. Same theme. Same plugins. This is only happening on the one site I upgraded both CF7 and WP today.

… and I updated CF7 & WP a few days ago on numerous sites on several different servers with absolutely no problems.

You have a problem on one site caused by some issue or issues on that particular site. There is something different of that site. I don’t know what it is but I have absolutely no doubt it is there.

Maybe the update of CF7 didn’t complete properly. Maybe one of the other plugins on your site created a conflict when you updated WP.

To solve your current problem you will need to work through the issues for your particular configuration.

@buzztone – just because you were able to update with no issues doesn’t mean that others won’t encounter issues.

Also, constantly posting your blog link so it looks like an official support thread seems a bit shady to me.

@gensd – I can assure you posting that link is NOT shady at all – the site HAS excellent troubleshooting info and documentation for this very well-supported plugin.

I went to the site, and it didn’t have much more than ads on it. That’s why I posted regarding it.

I did post an issue with the Contact Form in a thread that was created 5 hours ago, because it seemed on topic.

I have approximately 15 forms on a website, and 2 of them work correctly, whereas the rest give the same issue. It says that the email sent, and redirects to the confirmation page. But no email is received.
