Post content doesn't appear?

I’ve made my theme from scratch and a few files are missing. After I click on a blog entry, an empty page is displayed. I have single.php with ` <?php while ( have_posts() ) : the_post(); ?>

<?php get_template_part( ‘content’, get_post_format() ); ?>

<?php endwhile; // end of the loop. ?>` but the post doesn’t show. Which php part am I missing? (I removed comments etc because don’t need it)
