Is this possible Pay to post / Free to read

    Hello, here’s the scenario we would like to fulfill:

    1. Members pay to post to the website. There are different levels each allowing greater number of posts. For example, a free membership can post once a month…paying $4.99 will allow you to post 3 times a month…paying $9.99 will allow unlimited monthly posts.

    2. All content will be publicly available for free.

    3. Members will have configurable profiles with biographic information, contact information, etc.

    Thanks for your answer…I’m hoping this is the right software for this need.

  • Hi Chris,

    PMPro creates subscriber level access only, not author level, so you would have to manually change their WP role.

    Their are other plugins that probably handle this, but I do not know the names off the top of my head. Please let me know when you find one. I’d recommend checking the repository here as well as WPMU and WPBeginner.
