Sorting not working

In the plugin settings page there is an option to set sort to manually … haven’t tried the shortcode sorting

I have a similar problem

With sort order manually the pictures on the page are in the same order like the pictures in the gallery (with another option, it’s another order).
However, the NEXT and PREVIOUS link on the individual page do seem to follow a completely different logic and thus when clicking it I do not end up on the next or previous image like in the displayed order but on another picture. This is really bad!

I have the same problem with image sorting. It just needs to sort alphabetically reliably and it doesn’t. I get: p2, p8, p6, p4, p5, p3, p1, p7 in one folder for example when ftp etc shows it in alpha order.

It does the same with all the themes I have tried (2012 and several others).

The main page sorts properly, but the sub-folders seem completely random.

it does the same wither I use and of these short codes:

[eazyest_gallery orderby="title"]
[eazyest_gallery order="DESC" orderby="title"]

The admin settings don’t seem to impact it either. I thought perhaps it was an issue with “p.1.jpg” “p.2.jpg” and having periods in the name, but renaming them as p-1.jpg, p-2.jpg makes no difference.
