Post Avatar plugin: Make it the Featured Image for the post?

  • Is there a way to make the pic featured with the Post Avatar plugin be the Featured Image for the post? A setting within the plugin to do this would be helpful.

    Reason being, if a column/post has no other images, just the author’s photo displayed by Post Avatar, it would be nice if it showed up when the post was shared to Facebook, Google+, etc. Currently it does not usually show up as one of the choices when you share a post.

    I use the Hupso sharing plugin, but I’ve used others and had the same problem. Usually, I end up sharing the post with no image at all, and it’s much better to have one.

    Actually, it doesn’t have to be the featured image, if it can just be made to rank higher in the images Facebook looks for somehow…

    I’ve found that on some posts, Facebook does find the image, while on others, it doesn’t.
