    …Have you actually tried it yourself…?

    From the readme on the FAQ page https://plugins.svn.www.ads-software.com/subscribe2/trunk/ReadMe.txt it says

    = Can I put the form elsewhere? (header, footer, sidebar without the widget) =
    The simple answer is yes you can but this is not supported so you need to figure out any problems that are caused by doing this on your own. Read here for the basic approach.

    I’ve not tried but the readme.txt seems to indicate you can.

    @dikshav26,

    If your theme supports the footer area as a ‘sidebar’ then it’s a simple case of adding the Widget there, otherwise the instructions highlighted by Jan above will server your purpose.

    @dikshav26,

    “I have changed the by default page for the plugin”

    Okay, but where? You can set a default page in the Subsicrbe2 -> Settings page that applies when the shortcode is used within a pages content but the Widget needs the page defined within the Widget settings. Did you select a page there? (Open the Widget up once place in the sidebar to see the settings).
