[Plugin: WP Customer Reviews] Widget shortcode show product name

  • Hi,

    I am currently using the below shortcode in my widget area.

    [WPCR_SHOW POSTID=”ALL” NUM=”3″ SNIPPET=”” MORE=”” HIDECUSTOM=”0″ HIDERESPONSE=”0″]

    I am wondering if it is possible to display the product name with the review? As otherwise people don’t know what the review is for? Also if you can link the review to the page where it has been posted?

  • If you put text in the MORE option then it should use that to create a link to the product page where the review was placed.

    All the shortcode options are displayed on the setup screen. There’s no way I know of to include product names through the shortcode without modifications to the plugin core files (I don’t know how extensive those might be, no time to dig into it at the moment but someone else might know).

    I wish people could see what product the review is about.. otherwise it just doesn’t really make sense.

    I totally agree with you jamiek47. Im looking for a way too to have the Post Header included before the review otherwise users wont know what the review is about.

    Can someone guide us in the right direction?
