Fatal Error After Update

After performing an update, I receive the following error:

Cannot redeclare wp_cache_switch_to_blog() (previously declared in (…I truncated the rest of the error…)

I’m really not familiar with WordPress, but I do have FTP and root access to my server.

Any help fixing this error would be greatly appreciated.
