HTTP Error when uploading PDF / PNG Files

  • I posted this Wed and have not received a reply. This problem is negatively affected our ability to run our website. Please respond!

    We recently moved our hosting from a shared to a VPS server. We’ve had our WordPress site since 2012 and have had no trouble uploading PNG or PDF files. Now we suddenly get HTTP errors when uploading. We’ve changed permissions on the server end but it still isn’t working. Can you help?

  • Please try after switching to the default theme (Twenty Twelve) with all plugins off.

    But if I do that, the look and functionality of our website will be lost. We have a custom-created theme and all the plug-ins are integral to the site.
