Image with Hyperlink

  • Hiya,

    I am a photographer & I am trying to create a page for my clients where by clicking on an image takes them to their login page to enter their password protected gallery

    I have inserted the image and attached a URL to it, however clicking on it gives me the following message:

    ?Image cannot be loaded. Make sure the path is correct and image exist.

    I have tried numerous things but keep getting the same message

    I have a gallery plugin activated called fancy gallery, I thought this may be conflicting as it seemsto be trying to open the image the way it does in my other galleries however when I ddeactivated it I still had the same problem

    I am rather unclear on what the issue is…user login rights, user access, or how the plugins/theme/site used interfere with that? Please be clear with one issue at a time. Start with default setup and work your way up checking site for all functionality each and every step on the way.

    Since you are a new user made just after a rant of mine about a mod not reading posts before closing (sorry, I am not a mod, just trying to be clear for the community) please review this:

    Yeah, that’s not a core WordPress error message, so one of your plugins is getting in the way.

    I thought I was quite clear about the ONE issue I am having

    The hyperlink isn’t working, its coming up with the error message as stated

    I am only disgusing this one problem…

    So I don’t see what the problem is….

    Its 5am I will read in the morning

    You need to switch to the TwentyTwelve theme and deactivate all plugins, then test the behavior. If your problem goes away, then one by one, restore your theme, and reactivate each plugin, checking after each restore to see if it works or not. This is how you isolate the culprit that is causing your problem.
