edits posts on homepage

  • how can i hide the Replies and the “This entry was posted..” text under each post on the homepage here?

    I’d also like to make it to just say “Read more” or “read post” or some such.

    Any ideas for how? Thank you

  • Are you using a custom css plugin? Do not edit the Twenty Twelve theme. It is the current default WordPress theme and having access to an original, unedited, copy of the theme is vital in many situations. First create a child theme for your changes. Or install a custom CSS plugin.

    yah i use a child theme..

    i have a custom css plugin but i don’t understand how that would help. sorry

    my custom CSS manager allows me to enter code, i just don’t know what code will remove the text i want removed. and add the text i want added.

    Try using Firefox with the Firebug add-on for this kind of CSS troubleshooting. Or use whatever developer tool is available in your web browser.
