    I need help with tablepress plugin, i had been using it for quite a while now but recently something went wrong with my website and i lost all my files from the hosting server luckily I had made a copy of all the contents of wordpress from the server on my laptop and now i have restored it but even though i had copied all the files to the root folder and everything’s working fine….but the tables from tablepress don’t seem to show up can anyone please tell me in which folder does the tables created exist or is there anything else i could do, and i don’t have an export file of the tablepress’s tables.
    Please help me a way out of this.

    Hi,

    thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

    Tables are stored in the WordPress database and not in any files. So, just a backup of the files from the server is not enough to restore the tables, unfortunately. You will need a backup of the mySQL database to get the tables back.

    Hi,

    that’s good news! Then I would recommend to use that backup and the backed up files to create a second copy of your site on a test server. You should then have all content there and can export your tables and re-import them on the original server.
