Works with galleries, not direct images

Sample URL (gallery): https://bit.ly/11mH3GkAs you can clearly see, the plugin works perfectly when viewing an image from a gallery. However, when viewing an image with a direct link to it, it simply loads it. Am I missing something?
I’ve gone through several different lightbox plugins and found that this one works the best, so I’d rather not have to experiment with others. I’m sure that, to get this working properly, it would take a few small tweaks somewhere…
