    Hey,

    Try resaving your permalinks.

Also check your products are in stock and their visibility settings are configured correctly.

    Thanks

    HI James
thanks for your reply, I check viability and permalinks
The issue maybe that I had two Shop pages and might of deleted the woo commerce shop page by accident

I tried to unistall and reinstall the plugin, but nothing changed

any thoughts on how to restore a deleted woo commerce page?

    thanks
    Silas

@silas – Shop page can be any page you want. Just make sure the page has no other ecommerce shortcode within and then go to your WooCommerce settings->pages tab and select the page you want to be your shop page from the dropdown.

    thanks splashingpixels
Pardon the novice question but is there a shortcode I could use to get the catalog/gallery of products to display?

failing this I would like to start fresh, but it seems impossible to remove woocommerce and start clear, any thoughts?

@Silarose – I am not sure if you’re asking about your original issue or are you now talking about something else? One step at a time. Have you gotten the shop page to load the products you have?

    Thread Starter Silasrose

    (@silasrose)

No not yet, sorry for the miscommunication

I just tried adding a new page – Buy Now – to the menu and pointed the WC to that page and I get the same message

I must have messed something up in the set up, which is why I am thinking I should start fresh

@Silarose – I would suggest you switch to default 2012 theme and then go to permalinks settings and save twice. Re-test…

    Thread Starter Silasrose

    (@silasrose)

Hmmm, I went to permalink settings and saved

These settings control the permalinks used for products. These settings only apply when not using “default” permalinks above.

was there something else I should do in there?

    Roy Ho

    (@splashingpixelscom)

@Silarose – if you did all that and assuming correctly and it still doesn’t show, then perhaps your products settings are not correct.

    Roy Ho

    (@splashingpixelscom)

@Silarose – You said you’ve already checked the product visibility and it is set to visible but what about publish status? Did you make sure it is not draft?

    Roy Ho

    (@splashingpixelscom)

@Silarose – also on the WC settings->catalog tab, what settings do you have for:
Shop Page Display and Default Category Display?

    Thread Starter Silasrose

    (@silasrose)

products are set to public and are published

    catalog settings are to default

    Roy Ho

    (@splashingpixelscom)

    @Silarose – seems its working fine now…

    Unfortunately not quite
for some reason it will display categories, but if you click T Shirts it wont display individual products:(

    Roy Ho

    (@splashingpixelscom)

@Silarose – as I asked you before what your setting was and you said default. But by default, it should not show a product category and will show each individual products…Sorry I don’t know how else to help you…Perhaps others can chime in…
