Tweaking Capabilities

Following the section ‘Shop Manager’ in WooCommerce docs, is ‘Tweaking Capabilities’, where it advises “If you wish to modify roles and capabilities you should use a third party plugin such as Capability Manager” .
Using this plugin, I was hoping to assign the ‘Moderate Comments’ capability to the Editor role (the Editor role is not required to have any other access to shop functions).
The ‘Moderate Comments’ box was checked in the plugin settings.
Unfortunately this setting, in this plugin or its successor ‘Capability Manager Enhanced’, either does not appear to function or the setting is not intended for this purpose.Is there a working solution for this ?
