• Hi, when I use this player I actually see two players, one in a thick black block and the other below it is stylish and rounded with round buttons. I can set the height to 40 and then only see the black block player. With height at 50 I can see a bit of the lower player but it’s cut off. This is with HTML5 set to true, and I see it in both Chrome and IE10.

If I set HTML5 to false, then I see yet a third player style, which I believe is the actual Google style player. The buttons are rounded rectangles.

    I’m pretty much using the default shortcode command line: [ca_audio url_mp3=”%SERMONURL%” width=”500″ height=”120″ css_class=”codeart-google-mp3-player” autoplay=”false” download=”false” html5=”false” skin=”small” align=”none”]

I’m just trying to figure out what it should look like and the best way to set it up. My site is https://successinchrist.org/sermons/

    Any suggestions? Thanks!

    Hi jaj75074

I noticed that beside our player you use some other players on the site.

Please disable the other players plugins and leave just the Codeart Google mp3 player and then see if it shows an error.

Let me know how it goes.

codeart, I have other player plugins installed trying to find one that works properly.

For now I have disabled all the others, but no change. If I set the height to 120 I can see two players. I can hide the lower one by setting the height to 40 but then I’m left with the blocky player. I can live with this, but it just seems like it isn’t working the way it should.

    Hi jaj75074,

Sorry for the late reply, we have been on holidays recently and didnt have time to look at the support forums.

I checked your site and see that it works just fine?
What was the issue? Were you using an old version of the plugin?

    Thanks

Thanks for checking. It turns out that my theme had the audiojs player embedded in it, although there were no instructions on using it. The developer was of no help, so I decided to take a chance and I deleted every reference to audiojs and then everything started working properly.

One question I have though is that the player wants to preload everything, but if it fails then you see “00:00 / NaN:NaN” for the duration and the file won’t play. If you refresh the page then it might find the file and preload properly.

Is there a way to make it not try to preload the files?

    Thanks!
