Changing permalink for tags

Hello fine folks,

I have a custom post type called “tees” where I list my t-shirts. It’s different from the classic posts.
Tags assigned to “tees” go by the permalink https://www.mysite.com/teetag/awesome-tshirt

I can’t seem to find where to customize from /teetag/ to something different.

Any suggestions?
