    Hi,

I’ve just started using this plugin today, and all was going well adding geo info to each of my pages (on: https://www.personallicencescourses.co.uk). I ran a few test as I was going along, and everything was working perfectly.

Then I noticed that the results don’t show commas between each line of address (road name, city, postcode, etc) – which can sometimes look a little bit confusing. So I went back and edited a couple of the pages I’d already created by adding a comma at the end of each of these address lines.

Now when I do a search for anything at all I get the “No results” message every time. If I leave the search area empty and click to search it still comes up with 4 entries (as it should). I’ve tried disabling all other plugins, in case there was a conflict, but that didn’t correct the problem.

I realise the commas may just be a red herring, but I’m pretty sure that was the last thing I was working on before the plugin stopped working.

I’ve also tried clearing the addresses from a few of my pages and re-entering them, but that didn’t fix the issue either.

Any tips on correcting this problem will be very gratefully received as this plugin is absolutely perfect for my needs.

Thanks in advance for your help.

    Further to the above info…

I’ve now deleted all of the GEO address entries on each page (using this plugin’s dedicated delete button), and added addresses to 4 new pages – but these changes have failed to alter the problem I was seeing previously.

I’ve also deleted the GEO plugin and reinstalled it, and gone through each of the settings pages associated with this plugin and clicked the save button each time – again, no luck.

I think I’ve just about run out of ideas about what to try next.

    Hi,
One thing i could think of that could cause the issue is OVER_QUERY_LIMIT by google. That can happen when you have used your daily limit of API request. Every time the address is being geocoded ( for example when submitting a search) it is being counted. Google gives you 2000 or 2500 calls per day per IP. which usually should be enough for a basic website. However, if you are on a shared hosting plan you might be sharing the same IP with other websites that uses Google service.
One things you can do is download the Beta version of the new update from my website. On the home page you’ll see the list of betas and the changes made. Download beta 6. In this update you can use Bings services to geocode the address whenever Google gets OVER_QUERY_LIMIT. You will need to get the API key from Bing and enter it in the setting page. After installation go to the “Settings” page of GEO my WP and use the tooltip to understand better.

The above could solve your issue assuming that it is OVER_QUERY_LIMIT problem.

Regardless, the new update is a major update and bring lot of improvements to GEO my WP.

Let me know if that helps

    Eyal
