I am the person who created the page with the Camptix plugin, and am the only one out of 3 people who tested the page that received this error message. That leads me to believe there was an issue with my Paypal account’s linked bank account, or something, but that does not appear to be the case.

When I run the transaction through my cc (without paypal), it goes through fine, so at least I know to focus on my paypal account…from what I can tell, since the other’s transactions went through fine, there is only an issue on my side.

    Any suggestions?

Hi John, that’s a generic error message, so in order to troubleshoot the problem we need to figure out what specifically is going on.

Can you find the corresponding Attendee post and look at the CampTix Meta Log metabox, then click on the “data” link for any relevant entries, and then copy/paste them into a pastebin and link to them here?

Make sure you redact any sensitive information about your server/transaction/etc before posting it here.

Hi there, I am getting the same error “A payment error has occurred, looks like chosen payment method is not responding. Please try again later.” when I try to checkout. I’ve had three persons use the plugin and now it won’t proceed. I’ve double checked my API credentials.

Hi jknz, please see my reply above to John. There’s no way for me to help you without that info.

I had that problem as well.
    It is fixed now.
All you have to do is to uncheck the Sandbox Mode mode from “Yes” to “No”.

Hope it works for you all.

Hello. I followed all the instruction mentioned on the installation page, but when I try to run this plugin I get the following error

    “An error has occurred.”

You can check on the following page as well

Ian, I read your post stating to put the info from meta log, but I cannot find anything like that, all I could find is attached below:

Yes, I set the Sandbox mode to NO

WDjoe, can you help me on teamviewer?

I can try but not right now. Im leaving my house for most of the day today and tomorrow (Sunday) I will be spending time with my family. The earliest would be Monday evening about 9pm eastern time.
If thats ok just let me know Monday.

yes, thats ok. so how will you contact me? my email id is – [email protected]

Either here or email…one more thing before I go.
You must have an “active” paypal account for this plugin to work.

It seems to be working fine for me. Did you find a solution? If so, please post it here to help anyone else who may run into the same problem, and to help us fix any bugs in the plugin that may have contributed to it.

I have followed all of the instructions above, and I am still getting this error! API signature details have been accurately entered and sandbox mode is off. Any ideas???
