Cannot access my blog July 21 2013

    For 12 hours now I’ve been unable to access my blog -neither from the wordpress dashboard, nor from any links I posted elsewhere. And clicking on my blog in the search engines causes a blank page to appear with a continually “loading” situation. The blog is unreachable by any means.

    Does anyone know why this is happening? I opened my blog October 2012 and there have never been any problems. I have not altered anything.

    Fortunately I have a text copy of my blog, and if this goes on more than another 24 hours I shall have to exit wordpress for good, and open my own webpage, as I have followers.

    Is anyone else getting this total shutdown right now?
    Or does anyone know -is there site maintenance going on?

    I’ll just add:
    When I try to access the blog by any means -not only from the dashboard, but from any search engines or links I am getting a page which says:

    “No data received”
    and two options to click on:
    “Reload”.…….and “More”
    Clicking on “Reload” causes the same thing to happen.
    Clicking on “More” says:
    Unable to load the webpage because the server sent no data.
    Error code: ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE

    …..Even that won’t load…..I’m wondering if the site has crashed.

    Nope, working fine for me. Try clearing your browser cache and cookies, try another browser, restart your modem/router.

    Thank you. If it works for you at least it doesn’t mean it has disappeared or been hacked out of existence!
    I did all you suggested. Still nothing from any direction. All other web links I click on work…other websites work…
    Curiously I cannot access anyone else’s wordpress blogs either. Any of them and I have tried lots…With the exception of the Survey, and another one by wordpress admin.
