Cannot login as admin

  • Hello, i am sorry for my bad english. Since today i have a problem with login to my site https://www.dajohofnet.org
    I can visit it but when i choose to login i have to fill in the data but after i click return it just stop there. There is no error message.
    What ever you fill in it will do nothing. It does not seem to function that script.
    So i could not login from my pc. In my ipad i am still logged in as admin so i have deactivated all plugins but that does not work. I even did an update to wordpress 3.5.2
    Als did not work.
    Could someonde please help me.? Or have a suggestion.

  • If your sure the password is correct (no password errors) simply can’t get past login screen. Clearing cookies, cache etc, didn’t solve anything, replaceing install files doesn’t resolve the issue try this:

    1. via ftp rename “wp-content” > “plugins” to “plugins_bak”
    2. create new dir “plugins”
    3. login to wp (which now worked for me)
    4. via ftp remove empty “plugins” created in step 2
    5. and rename “plugins_bak” back to “plugins”

    The above is an easy first step to try (doesn’t hurt anything) before getting into re-installs and going into the DB. If it works for you all your plugins will be disabled so you’ll need to go to Plugins and re-enable those you want.
