The Twenty Twelve thing works wonderful for the website that I’m currently making. I made a child theme for it. However, I can’t seem to be able to go from mobile version on a phone to full site. Can someone help? I tried using jetpack and other plugins but they just change the mobile version to another mobile version.

  • There’s not a built-in option to do that – so it would likely require a bunch of custom coding.

Ok… Well, any resources to help me head in the right direction? It’s appreciated.

First of all, you must deactivate Jetpack Mobile theme. Jetpack is known to automatically activate all modules by default, so visit Jetpack setting page and deactivate Mobile theme (also, anything else that you don’t need from Jetpack).

Secondly, Twentytwelve theme is a responsive theme, using this theme doesn’t require another mobile theme at all. So if there is no real solid reason to use a separate mobile theme, consider taking that function or plugin out.

If in case, you want to keep it, check the mobile template (probably in the footer.php) see if there is a div with “Ver sitio para móvil” link in it just like normal version. It might be hardcoded or injected dynamically by that plugin you use.
