Video Embed Causing Font Issue
-
Hi Folks,
I’ve been up throughout the night trying to fine tune my wordpress files so my new blog site matches the style of my old website (which I’m in the process of replacing).
I’ve noticed that the font displaying my menu in the header seems to be affected by a video I’ve embedded from Vimeo. On most pages and posts, the text appears quite solid but as soon as you click on any page or post which includes the video (eg: the Blog menu page or that particular blog post itself) the text becomes noticeably thinner. I’ve not come across this before, and am wondering if it’s some kind of anti-aliasing issue, my monitor settings or something I’ve done wrong? I’m a complete novice when it comes to WP but am slowly learning along the way.
Here’s a link to the site so you can hopefully see what I mean:
https://www.retelevise.comPlease don’t laugh though. I’ve not really put much content up yet, and am still tweaking the layout, hence the different blocks of colour and some sections being obscured by the header etc. Any feedback would be really appreciated though.
Thanks,
Lance.PS: I did have a read through other posts on anti-aliasing, but none seemed to mention an issue being caused by an embedded video.
