Image Slider for Home Page

  • I am trying to add an image slider for my home page. I’ve tried a lot, and followed instructions and videos, but nothing seems to work. I am new to WP and am using a Nimbus theme.
    Ideally, I’d like a image slider like this: https://www.riverbend.com/ I want to add URL links so the topic can be accessed directly with a click.

  • Look for a slider plugin. For theme-specific help, you’ll need to ask the people you got the theme from –

    as commercial themes aren’t supported on these forums.

    I’ve been looking for a slider plug in. I’ve installed and gone through 4 and cannot get them to work the way they do for others. In order to “ask the people I got the theme from” I have to pay $40. I was trying to avoid this, because I don’t know if they will ultimately be able to help me anyway, I just don’t know.

    Then perhaps you should use a theme from here:

    That way you can get support here with it.
