I’ve been working on this website for this organization I work with and we have agreed to make the site “live” I’ve been hosting the site as a subsite on its mainserver (https://africanameric…ress_982685815/)

I attempted to change the website settings in the General Settings in WordPress so that the wordpress site is no longer hosted under africanamericanatelier.org/wordpress/ but as AfricanAmericanAtelier.org/

Needless to say, that was an epic fail! The files are still accessible in the Earthlink File Manager (i’ve tried to convince them to update to godaddy or bluehost) but I do not know how to either
    1. Restore the “subsite” so that someone else can fully migrate it or
    2. Fully Migrate the site

I don’t have phpMyAdmin and have only been using WordPress as a CMS

  • Just checked and the live site looks up and running @ AfricanAmericanAtelier.org/. Is that the final site, or is this something you’re trying to update with the site you’re developing in the /wordpress directory?

If you’re trying to migrate a site, this is a great resource:

Check that out and let us know if you still need help.

    Thank you McGuive7.

The site that is up and running is the site that I am trying to update with the site that I am developing in the the wordpress directory. I will check out the link. And let you know my results!
