Dropdown menu help

You can set that up using a custom menu – after you add the About Us item, you can click on the arrow on the right side of the menu bar (in the menu box) and change the URL for that menu item/page.

Menus show submenu tabs on hover.
If you click on a menu item, it will redirect you to a specific page or link, not to a new menu tab.
Maybe i didn’t understood what you really want.

WPyogi, I set up my menu.

I’m on the Menu page, choose the About Us menu item, click the Page down arrow to the right of About Us, a dialog box opens with options for Navigation Label, Title Attribute, Original, Remove, Cancel. But I don’t see the url.

Sorry, don’t think I’m in the right place – don’t see where I can change the url.

Maybe I can’t do this with Twenty Twelve?

Think I figured it out.

On the Menus page, I went to the Custom Link widget and created a menu item link rather than a new page. I named it About Us, and linked it to the Mission page (which I want as the landing page for the About Us section). I added this link to my menu and then located the Mission, History, and Board/Staff pages under About Us as the submenu.

That works as I wanted – clicking About Us takes the user to the Missions page.

Assume that’s the way to do it.
