WP Hacked, 2 Java files, Index Altered.

  • I have a client that has been hacked twice. I am not a security guru but I do follow basic WordPress security practices.

    2x .jar files are being placed in the public root and a link to them is being added to the index.php file.

    I have 1 user with a strong password and have WP Better Security with most of the settings turned on.

    Is there a easy way to discover what the vulnerability is? Is there way to lock down the files/directories then unlock when I need to edit?
