• I used the RSS Multi-Importer plugin to grab posts from multiple rss feeds and then import those posts into my blog in different categories. It was working until I found out that some posts were displaying at the bottom of my pages.

What do I mean by this?

I’ve got 6 different categories that posts are being imported to. At least one category will have at least 5 posts displaying at the bottom of the pages. I used the Exclude or include Pages, Tags, Posts & Categories (integrate with WiziApp) plugin to exclude the category from display posts and the problem goes away. I remove the feed entirely and add a new one in and then posts from a different category starts displaying at the bottom of my pages but was not originally displaying in the first place. I have no idea why the posts from one category are show ing up at the bottom of the pages.

The page.php file is original and unmodified. The feeds are validated using simplepie’s validator. I’ve uploaded a fresh copy of the theme (renamed it to avoid name conflict) and activated it….same problem occurs.

Still confused? This is what it looks like:

    The category excluded:

    The category included:

Apparently the posts embedding themselves as individual posts within one page making seem as though the sidebar is replicating itself scrolling down the page until you reach the footer. Like I said, there are no codes in the page.php file that is making any posts display within the page itself. Only one category is allowing itself to be displayed on the pages. I’ve seen every page and made sure no shortcodes or php code has been added. Every page is acting normal. It’s as if the posts are acting on their own without my control.

And yes, I’ve deactivated/reactivated and deactivated/deleted the rss plugin to no avail. The posts are still in the category but the problem is that only one specific category is deciding to display on the pages. I’ve checked the posts in the category and it seems the posts look normal.
